These talks have the purpose of shining a light on the MTS exceptional collection by engaging the public with well researched topics using the MTS library books as our sources. We aim to help people narrow in on the books they are especially interested in. 


Introduction to Theosophy and the Theosophical Society – invitation to new members and all who would like to find out more about Theosophy and the Theosophical Society

In this event we will be covering:

  • The Essentials of Theosophy
  • An Introduction to the Objects and Ideals of the Theosophical Society
  • The Theosophical Society – What is it all about
  • Recommended texts and literature.

This event links in with all 3 Objectives of the Theosophical Society:

  1. The form a nucleus of the Universal Brotherhood of Humanity, without distinction of race, creed, sex, caste, or colour.
  2. To encourage the study of Comparative Religion, Philosophy and Science.

To investigate unexplained laws of Nature and the powers latent in the human being.
