T. Subba Row was a distinguished member of the Theosophical Society in India in the 1880s and much admired by its two principal Founders,  Helena P. Blavatsky and Henry S. Olcott. He had a profound knowledge of the philosophies and religions of India as well as of Esoteric Philosophy.
